Catholicism DVD Series

Join us starting in 2015 as we explore the beauty of the Catholic Church in the DVD series by Fr. Robert Baron of Word On Fire Catholic Ministries titled "Catholicism". The series has been described as "the most important media project in the history of the Catholic Church in America. A stimulating and compelling exploration of the spiritual, moral, and intellectual riches of the Catholic world" (George Weigel).  This 10 episode series will be starting in January so stay tuned for more information.  You won't want to miss it!

2015 Encounter Conference

The Archdiocese of St. Louis and Franciscan University of Steubenville are presenting an exciting and faith-filled conference for young adults on May 29 – 31 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Louis, Missouri. The conference team includes Chris Stefanick, Josh Blakeley, Mary Bielski, Matt Fradd, Sarah Swafford and Fr. Mike Schmitz.  They will inspire young adults to take ownership of our Catholic faith and go out to evangelize our friends, families and co-workers.  Come to this conference to awaken the young adult generation and nourish our Catholic faith in ourselves and in our communities!  The conference  will also include a ministry and service fair that features booths offering information for young adults to learn how to be involved with our faith.  The weekend will also feature instruction on how to create small faith sharing groups, Bible studies and fellowship groups of Catholic young adults.  Most importantly, there will be time to encounter Jesus in adoration, Mass, reconciliation and prayer!  For more information, please contact Kasia Sullivan, Coordinator of Events for the Office of Young Adult Ministry, at (314) 792-7008 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Welcome to the Online Home of the Young Adult Mass!

Welcome to the online home for the Springfield Area Young Adult Mass!  Our purpose is to engage young Catholics from the greater Springfield area and prepare them for future parish life.

Our
Mission is simple.  We want...

1. To help young adults develop their spiritual life rooted in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

2.  To help young adults develop relationships with peers who share similar values and beliefs which nurture and strengthen their faith.

3.  To invite young adults to participate in the life of the Church through worship, faith formation programs, and community service.

We hope you will join us each and every Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. for Mass in the St. Viator Chapel within the Catholic Pastoral Center.  All ages are welcome.
